Our Estimate Process
At Gutter-Gear we don’t just sell and install gutters and accessories, we sell convenience and eliminate stress and worry. After all, your gutters on your home protect everything from your roof line to your walls and foundation. How we estimate: Once we have your name and address, and we know what service you are need of, we use a combination of tax/parcel aerial maps, databases, and software to measure your houses gutters from an aerial view. We figure if this is a good enough way to measure for the tax assessors, then it suits gutter measuring as well in most situations. It’s also faster and safer than a ladder. This helps keep our costs down and getting customers jobs done fast and efficiently at a fair price. Many times we are able to send you an estimate via text or email within a few hours of your quote request. Many of our customers appreciate this and have booked us online and paid by credit card, through a text message, while on vacation. A few clicks and you’re new gutters/ gutter services are on the way. When those customers returned home their new gutters and/or gutter guards, cleaning, repairs, etc., were completed and everyone was happy, which really is our main goal. If your house has many angles, has a complex roof design, or is covered from satellite view with big trees, your home is bi-level, multi-storied, is a new build that is not yet posted on online maps and databases, etc., then we always come out in person to measure, usually within a few hours up to no more than a day or two from the time you first requested a quote.
